WARREN McARTHUR Optometrist Display Table
This piece is a real heart-breaker! It came out of an optometrist's office near Chicago. I believe it originally had a clear glass top, so one could see the eyeglasses displayed in the drawers. The original top is long gone and has been replaced with an opaque white glass. There is a partial label on the aluminum frame. George Nelson "Thin Edge" headboard
This piece tickles me to no end! It's a teak full-size headboard designed by the amazing designer George Nelson. It's marked with a metal Herman Miller tag and has some amazing features. It has built-in nightstands with pull-out lighting. Inside the nightstands are a couple of small drawers. It has neutral linen upholstered headboards that tilt for reading in bed. It also has lift-top compartments to store your bedding. I must say that this is one of the heaviest pieces of furniture that I have ever moved! MILO BAUGHMAN "PERSPECTIVE" DESK by DREXEL
This gem was designed by Milo Baughman for Drexel around 1950. I'm not exactly sure of the wood of which it's made, but it looks like mahogany to me. The top measures 30 x 56 inches and floats above its 3 drawer base. The writing surface is covered with tan vinyl. It's in darn good condition with some regular wear to the edges.
