I could spend all day roaming this store of random odds and ends, some valuable, some not.
framed art, posters, furniture, glass and silverware, vinyl records, turntables, furniture, tools, old machinery, clothing, shoes, books, puzzles, office supplies, old telephones, more art, some very amazing African wooden carvings/sculptures (kachina dolls) jewelry...this list goes on and on!
Oh, and they have one small closet packed to the gills with children's' toys of yore.
Just go in and roam. You will be amazed. And maybe, just maybe, you'll find something there that you just can't live without.

I rarely ever buy anything here, though I do go in a lot. I enjoy looking at vintage instruments, clothing, and doodads here and there. But when I do buy something the prices seem to be generally well priced. If you're going on a shopping spree and wanna have some fun, you can just walk around artifacts and look at the cool stuff they have. They also have a kids toy section which I love going to.
They also updated their clothing area so it's bigger, they have a lot of jeans now!

Great selection and service. You never know exactly what you will find and that's why you need to keep coming back. It's definitely one of the best places to look for unique finds in Iowa city.
